Print Servers

Intel

®

 NetportExpress™ print servers provide high performance printing and 

centralized management for printers on multiprotocol networks. With 
NetportExpress print servers, you can locate printers anywhere on a Local Area 
Network (LAN).

NetportExpress print servers support most makes and models of printers on 
networks running IPX/SPX*, NetBEUI, TCP/IP, and AppleTalk* protocols.

Printing support

NetportExpress print servers support:

 Windows NT, Windows 2000, Windows 98, or Windows 95

Novell NetWare*

:  Novell Directory Services (NDS*), Novell Distributed 

Print Services* (NDPS), bindery print server, or remote printer

TCP/IP:

 Line Printer Remote (LPR) or File Transfer Protocol (FTP)

●

Macintosh: 

AppleTalk

about configuring, using, and troubleshooting your print server.  To access the 
Online Guide, go to:

The Start menu, click Programs, select Intel NetportExpress Print Server, 
and click Online Guide.
