Intel® SAS Interposer Card Installation

Figure 55. SAS Interposer Card Installation

Power off the system and disconnect the power cable(s).

Remove the system top cover (see

Section 3.1.1

Align the four screw holes of the SAS interposer card with the matching threaded holes on the base of
the chassis (see Letter A).

Secure the SAS interposer card to the chassis using four screws (see Letter B). Tighten to 5 in-lb.

Attach all the connectors as required.

If the RAID module needs to be installed, see

Section 3.8.3

Reinstall the system top cover (see

Section 3.1.2
