2.7.2. Connecting the Burglary Alarm System
Supply Voltage
The connection of the supply voltage takes place at the terminals 41/42.
Terminal 41: 12 VDC
Terminal 42: GND
Attention: Use stabilized 12 V DC voltage!
Check the correct polarity!
Antitamper loop
The connection for the BAS takes place at the terminals 13 and 14. This output is
potential-free.
The terminals 1 and 2 can include additional elements into the antitamper loop. If no
more antitamper loops are connected, the terminals 1 and 2 must be short-circuited.
Resistance monitoring of the antitamper loop may be inserted at R5.
In idle state, the antitamper loop is closed.
Note:
The entire area sensor (cover and housing floor) has a resistance of approx. 1.6 KΩ.
If, for example, terminal 1 and 2 are bridged, and a bridge was inserted instead of R5
(factory default!), a resistance of approx. 1.6 KΩ can be measured while “pressing
the cover contact”.
