3. Cut a 20 × 1.2 in. (50.8 × 3.0 cm) hole into the back wall of your cupboard to
vent your cooktop.
Make sure that the cut is centered and 1 in. (2.5 cm) from
the surface of your counter.
4. Carefully place the cooktop into the hole in your counter.
