This page allows you to survey and connect to nearby wireless networks.

Fields in this page:

Field

Description

SSID

Displays the Service Set Identifier (SSID) or network name.

BSSID

Displays the Broadcast Set Identifier (BSSID) of the Wireless AP.

Channel

Displays the Channel number the Wireless AP is using.

Type

Displays the type of protocol the Wireless AP is on.

Encryption

Displays the type of security Encryption the Wireless AP is using.

Signal

Displays the Wireless reception strength.

Function buttons for this setting block:

Refresh

Click to scan for wireless network.

Connect

When an AP or IBSS is found, you may select the SSID you want to connect to and click this button

to connect to the selected wireless network.
