8. AC connection
This chapter explains the requirements and process for connecting the AC wiring to the unit. The circuits for DC
and AC (if available) charging are derived internally from this connection.
Read carefully before starting the connection process.

Consult section “Important safety instructions” and the following instructions before working on the unit
8.1. Safety instructions for the AC connection
DANGER
Make sure there is no voltage present on the unit before starting the AC connection.
Do not switch on the power to the unit until you have successfully made the rest of the connections and it is
closed.
Use the Personal Protective Equipment specified in the section “Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)”
During the connection, ensure the correct connection of the cables to the corresponding busbars.
It is essential to correctly replace the IP2X protections once the AC connections have been made.

8.2. Cabling requirements
To guarantee the safety of persons, for the unit to function correctly and comply with the applicable standards, the
unit must be connected to the ground of the installation.
