1. Upgrade mode: The way to upgrade the system. The system
supports USB mode only. Select "USB" in the list, and move the
cursor to "Browse", and press

box with the updated file list in the U-disk. It's empty if there's
no file. Select the file, and press "Upgrade" button to perform
the upgrade. Press "Cancel" or

confirmation box to require user check the settings.
2. Restore to factory settings: If the system runs abnormally due
to misoperation or other reasons, user could restore the system
to factory default settings. Move the cursor to "Default", and

key. The system will reboot automatically after
restore successfully.
3. Reboot and shutdown: When reboot or shutdown the system,
the system will pop up a prompt to confirm the reboot or shut
down. If select "OK" and press

reboot or shutdown. If choose "Cancel", and press
Ǐ

key.
The prompt will close, and the system will not reboot or
shutdown.

While the screen shows the main interface, press

channel setting interface, as shown in Figure 5-19.
Users can make basic settings of selected channels, including
privacy mask, contrast ratio, brightness, hue, saturation, channel
name and OSD information.
5.5.8 Bi-directional Audio Talk-back
Bi-directional Audio Talkback is used for audio communications
between the PC running the client software and the DVR. Connect
a microphone and a sound box to the PC; connect a microphone to
the DVR Line in dialog box and a sound box to DVR Audio out
dialog box.
Setting of the sound card properties is required prior to talkback,
the detail steps as follows:
1. Double click the speaker icon to pop up the dialog box as shown
in the following figure:
