Appendix I System Alarm Programming 

Program the system alarm in 1.5 menu SET ALARM. Please follow 
the steps below to program the V2923ACN system alarm: 
1.

 

Monitor arm types programming;

Alarm Contact/Camera programming; 

3.

 

Alarm Contact/Monitor programming; 

4.

 

Alarm title programming.

Select SET MONITOR ARM TYPES from SET ALARM to 
program monitor arm type. 
To arm a monitor, 
1.

 

Move the cursor to the ARM TYPE entry corresponding to the 
monitor to be armed. 

2.

 

Enter the desired arm type code, or press ACK key to select in 
sequence. 

3.

 

Press ACK key to confirm. The selected arm type will be 
displayed in the entry.

Select SET ALARM CONTACTS from SET ALARM to define the 
camera to be contacted upon an alarm. 
1.

 

Move the cursor to the CAM entry corresponding to the 

desired alarm contact (ACN). 

2.

 

Enter the desired Camera Number (1-1024) or Pseudo 

Number (1-9999) on the keypad. 

3.

 

Press the ACK key to confirm. The entered Camera Number 

will be displayed in the entry.

Select SET MONITOR CONTACTS from SET ALARM to define 
the monitor to be contacted upon an alarm. 
1.

 

Move the cursor in the desired Monitor entry corresponding to 
the desired alarm contact (ACN). 

2.

 

Use the ACK key to toggle between "N" and "Y" (N = Disabled, 
Y = Enabled). 

3.

 

Repeat Steps 1 and 2 until all the desired entries are defined. 

4.

 

Move the cursor to the PREVIOUS MENU line, and press the 
ACK key to return to the SET ALARM menu.

Select SET ALARM TITLE from SET ALARM to define a title for 
an alarm. 
1.

 

Select the number of an alarm for title programming. 

2.

 

Move the cursor to the selection area to select the desired 
character, number or symbol, and then press ACK key to confirm. 
The selected character, number or symbol will be displayed in 
the TITLE fields. 

3.

 

Repeat steps 1 and 2 until all the desired alarm is defined.
