2.3 Using other nozzles
(accessories)
Besides the floor nozzle you just attached, you may extend
the functions of your cylinder vacuum cleaner with other
nozzles. The supplied
accessories
include:
Crevice nozzle (Fig. 5/1)
For vacuuming spots difficult to reach.
Furniture brush (Fig. 5/2)
For cleaning delicate surfaces.
Upholstery nozzle (Fig. 5/3)
For gentle vacuuming of upholstered furniture.
Optionally
available (*i.e. included in the scope of delivery
depending on model and features):
Turbo brush (Fig. 6/1*)
For thoroughly deep cleaning of carpets with the brush
roller head.
Parquet brush (Fig. 6/2*)
For vacuuming especially delicate surfaces
(e.g. parquet, laminate) with long, soft bristles.
Long flexible crevice nozzle (Fig. 6/3*)
Use this to vacuum dust from distant, hard-to-reach
places.
Proceed as follows to fit on the nozzles:
1.
Pull off the attached nozzle.
2.
Push the desired nozzle onto the lower end of the tele-
scopic tube (Fig. 8) or if necessary directly onto the han-
dle (Fig. 7).
3.
If possible, store nozzles not in use on the accessory
bracket (Fig. 5).
NOTE:
When you use the long, flexible crevice nozzle, under
certain circumstances the pressure inside the vacuum
cleaner might drop too far thus triggering the safety
valve. The signal for this is e.g. a whistling noise
(depending on the vacuum cleaner model) and greatly
reduced suction performance. In this case, you must
open the bypass vent (Fig. 1/20) until the valve no longer
triggers.
ATTENTION:
Use only intact nozzles. Defective nozzles may scratch
or damage surfaces and objects.
