Cleaning and Maintenance

If the toilet has been used for a long period of time and

ushing or washing functions seem to be getting weak, clean

the strainers as described in the following procedure. (As a general guideline, the strainer should be cleaned once
every two years.)

How to Clean the Strainer

Fully close the strainer.

Open the water shutoff valve fully.

Mount the top cover.

Check that no water leaks from the water

shutoff valve.

When using the toilet again,

be sure to perform

usage checks described on page 15.

Disassemble the strainer, as shown in

the diagram below.
Thoroughly wash each component to
remove any debris.
