Setup Instructions
1. Move your light stands to the desired location. You can drop the
center column down to the floor for additional stability if desired
by loosening the center column locking knobs, and/or using
sandbags for even more stability.
Note:
Setting the center column so that it is resting on the floor
or ground provides additional support for heavy backgrounds.
However, this will prohibit the stands from extending to their
full height.
Important!
If using a heavy background such as a 12-foot paper roll,
place sandbags on the support struts for extra stability.
2. Make sure the spigots are oriented so that they are pointing up
to accept the crossbar.
3. Align the holes at the end of the crossbar with the spigots and
set the crossbar down onto them. You may need an assistant
to handle one of the ends of the crossbar. Tighten the crossbar
locking knobs.
4. Adjust the light stands to the desired height.
