7 Updating the Firmware
To update the firmware of your player if a new
firmware is available on the Internet:
1) On the home page of “img Stage Line”
(www.imgstageline.com), click “Software
Updates” under “SUPPORT”. Then scroll down
to “FIRMWARE-DOWNLOADS”.
For downloading, click the icon in front of
“DMP-240”.
Copy the software download onto a USB flash
drive.
2) Switch off the DMP-240 with the POWER switch
(4).
3) Insert the USB flash drive with the new firmware
into the USB port MASTER (5)
on the right
.
4) Switch on the player again while keeping the
button PROG (10) pressed. The display on the
left will show
first. When it shows
, release the button PROG. In the field PITCH
(G), the version number of the firmware of the
player will appear, then the version number of
the firmware on the USB flash drive.
5) After reading in, when the text line (N) shows
, press the button
(18) to start the
firmware update. The following messages will
appear on the display one after the other:
When
appears, the firmware has been
updated.
6) Switch off the player and switch it on again.
