Press the super-steam button (3) intermittently to iron even in an upright direction
(curtains, hung clothes, etc.) [Fig. E].
Stop using super-steam button (3) when the plate temperature LED (1) goes on
and start ironing again when it goes off.
SPRAY FUNCTION
Verify that there is water in the reservoir (10).
Press the spray button (2) slowly for dense spray or quickly for mist [Fig. F].
Dampen delicate fabric using the spray function or before ironing or alternatively, lay a damp
cloth between the fabric an the iron. Do not use the spray function on silk or synthetics.
END OF USE
EMPTYING PROCESS
Set the switch O/I (11) on position “O” to switch the iron off.
Disconnect the plug (13) from the socket.
Open the latch (5).
Empty the reservoir (10) by turning the iron upside down and shaking it lightly.
Let the iron cool down completely.
Always set the iron upright.
NOTE: If the appliance is not to be used for several weeks, wait for the appliance to cool
down compltely before emptying the water reservoir completely, according to the
instructions in the relevant chapter. When the appliance is switched on again, refill the
reservoir as indicated in the relevant chapter.
MAINTENANCE
ZERO-CALC ANTI-SCALE SYSTEM
A special resin filter inside the water reservoir decreases the water hardness and limits the
formation of limescale in the plate. The resin filter is permanent and cannot be replaced.
SELF CLEAN/CALC-CLEAN SYSTEM
The function allows the internal part of the plate to be cleaned from limescale residue or
other impurities.
It is recommended to carry it out every 5-10 uses.
Fill the water reservoir (10) up to the maximum (MAX) level (8).
Set the steam selector (4) to 0.
Insert the plug (13) in the socket.
Set the O/I switch (11) to position “l” to switch the iron on and wait for the plate temperature
control LED (1) to switch off.
Disconnect the plug (13) from the socket and place the iron in a horizontal position over a
wash basin.
Press and hold the calc clean button (7). Boiling water, steam and any dirt and scaling will
be ejected from the plate.
Once the iron plate has cooled down (9), clean it with a damp cloth.
