15 - FUNCTIONING
The sectionalising devices of outer energy are :
On the left of the electrical panel there is the main switch with interlocking attachment, 1/RI0077and at the back of the
panel, rapid attachment for compressed air ,RI0340
Panel control , drawing RI0077, installed in front of the worker includes :
1- The main switch with interlocking attachment with thermo-magnetic overload protections of all installation,
completed with releasing device for drop of current.
2- Emergency device ; when it is on it locks all electrical devices. Turn the button 1/4 of turn to unlock it.
3- Motor speed selector.
4- Analogical ammeter for the motor absortion of the cutting electrical energy .
5- Opening /closing vice selector
6- Button START to start-up the cycle- with led light of low voltage 24 V
7- Control potentiometer of the inverter for the continuous variation of the band speed ( for models equipped with ESC
only ).
8- Hydraulic regulator device of the cutting speed.
9- Untensioned band led light
10-Open coverband carter light
Other control devices are placed in other accessible parts.

15.1 - CUTTING SETTING
The mounted blade allows to cut different sections of materials, thanks to the variable pitch of the toothing (
alternating little teeth to big teeth ) but it is necessary to have the most suitable blade for the workpiece and for making
the most of the machine. Therefore see the included schedules - THE CHOICE OF THE BLADE for a right using.
Put the workpiece you have to cut in the vice by keeping 2/3 mm between the piece and the jaw necessary for a better
using of automatic closing and place it a little back as regards to the cutting line.
Be sure that the handle
–13/RI0074- locks the rotation of the work table.
Turn on the main switch
–1/RI0077- , turn on the emergency button –2/RI0077- in case it is off , keep that the selector
-19/RI0340- is on semiautomatic position, turn the motor speed selector on 0, ( or turn on BLADE STOP the rear
selector, -only for ESC equipped models-) close the vice by the selector (5) and check if jaws clamp rightly the piece.
Position the front shaft of blade guide holder 15/RI0074 so that it does not bump against the piece or the jaws when
the saw frame is coming down.
Set the bar, so that it goes over the cutting line, and clamp it; select the motor speed rotation with the selector
3/RI0077- in case it is equipped with select it with the ammeter 7/RI0077 of the ESC. Start the cycle, adjust the cooling
flow that reaches the blade and after the automatic rapid approach, carried out by the device
–1/RI0460 , start the
cutting by turning the speed regulator -8/RI0077-.
