CONNECTION sETTINGs
These control the way your unit connects to the internet.
You can view and test your ethernet connection via this
set of screens.
If your internet connection doesn’t seem to be working
correctly, you can test the connection from the Assigned
Ethernet Settings screen.
A number of aspects of the connection are tested and
reported. If any test fails, check the hint at the bottom
of the screen. There are tests whose failure doesn’t
necessarily indicate a probem with your connection. If
the hint suggests it is essential this test passes, please
contact your dealer or Imerge Customer Support.
sYsTEM INFORMATION
This screen shows a variety of attributes of your
MediaServer, including the serial number, the software
version, the number of movies and albums, the
temperature at which the system is running, etc.
OUTPUT CONFIGURATION
By default, output zones are numbered sequentially and
named Output 1, Output 2, etc. You can change these
attibutes.
The sound volume is fixed, on the assumption you will
control the volume using your dedicated amplification
equipment.
When you connect a MediaPlayer to your MediaServer,
the MediaPlayer’s output is automatically renumbered to
the next available number, and renamed to match. You
can change this if you wish, simply by editing those two
fields from this screen.
On a MediaPlayer, the Audio Format option allows you
to choose between Stereo and Surround Sound output.
Each output can be configured separately in this way.
