Replacing the Mains Inlet Filter
WARNING:
There is a risk of electrical shock, the power supply unit can deliver an electrical shock even when
mains power is removed from the unit; be certain to observe all standard safety precautions.
TOOLS:
Screwdriver (Size???)
Flat bladed screwdriver.
PARTS USED:
<P/NBR> 2x M? ?mm
PROCEDURE:
Disassembly
1.
Ensure that the power has dispersed before touching the power supply.
2.
There are two connectors plugged into the power supply, one is the earth (green/yellow) and
the other is for live and neutral (Blue and brown).
3.
On the rear of the unit are two screws holding the Mains Inlet filter to the chassis
4.
Remove the two screws and carefully extract from the unit.
Assembly
1.
Ensure that the power has dispersed before touching the power supply.
2.
The mains filter is fitted on the rear right hand side.
3.
Feed the mains filter cables and external power source socket through the chassis from the rear
then position the holes with the chassis mounting point.
4.
Insert two screws into the external power source socket and tighten.
5.
Fit the cable into the power supply in the sockets next to the rear of the unit.
