Removing & Fitting the Front Panel
TOOLS:
Pozi-driv No.1 and No.2 screwdrivers
PARTS USED:
<P/NBR> 4x M4 6mm
<P/NBR> 4x M3 6mm
PROCEDURE:
Disassembly
1. The front panel is secured to the chassis in two places, underneath the unit and inside the
chassis.
2. Gently turn the unit over and remove 4x M3 6mm screws (Figure 1).
3. Turn the unit back over again
4. Inside the unit, the front panel is fixed to the chassis by 4xM3 6mm screws (Figure 2).
5. Remove each of the M3 6mm screws whilst holding the front panel to prevent damage.
6. Carefully extract the front panel from the chassis (Figure 3).
Assembly
1. Before fitting the front panel make sure that the IR receiver is aligned to the template printed on
the front panel PCB. Between the front panel and the front panel PCB is a gasket to stop dust
obscuring the display. Using a dry dust cloth, gently remove any dust from the LCD display
and rear of the display window.
2. Carefully position the panel over the front of the chassis (Figure 1).
3. Secure the panel to the chassis with 4x M4 6mm screws (Figure 2), when inserting the screws
make sure that they are going in straight.
4. Turn the unit over and fit 4x M3 6mm screws (Figure 3).
