10. TROUBLE SHOOTING

If, following several attemps, the engine of the high pressure washer still does not start, please refer

to following table. Then, if the high pressure washer cannot start, please contact the IMER FRANCE

reseller or the nearest After-Sales Service to get information and to be instructed with measures to

take.

THE ENGINE CANNOT START:

Make sure position of the CHOKE LEVER is

correct.

Put the CHOKE LEVER to the CHOKE

(CLOSED) position.

Make sure the fuel cock is opened.

Open the fuel cock if is closed.

Check fuel level.

Fill up the tank in case it is empty. Do not overfill it

Oil level too low (oil sensor security has

triggered).

Check oil level and top up.

Make sure the position of the engine switch is

correct.

Put the ON / OFF switch to position ON

(START).

Make sure the spark plug is not dirty.

Remove the spark plug and clean the electrode.

Make sure the spark plug cap is correctly fitted. Fit the spark plug cap in case it is removed.

THE ENGINE SUDDENLY STOPS:

Out of fuel

Fill with fuel.

Oil level too low (oil sensor security has

triggered).

Check oil level and top up.

LACK OF POWER FOR THE ENGINE:

Air filter clogged

Replace the air filter

THE ENGINE DOES NOT RUN CORRECTLY OR STALLS:

The CHOKE LEVER was removed too early.

Leave the CHOKE LEVER in the CHOKE

(CLOSED) position until the engine runs regularly.

THE ENGINE CORRECTLY RUNS WHEN IDLE BUT SPUTTERS WHEN LOADED:

Engine speed is too low.

Move speed control to position FAST.
