The charger’s input voltage is too high(greater than 18V
).Disconnect the charger and reconnect to a power source within
the recommended specification (DC 11 to 18V).
LiPo or NiMH Status LED Flashes Red with Audible Chime

A cell (or cells )in the battery pack is bad or an individual cell’s
voltage is too high or too low.If after checking the cells they
are determined to be okay,unplug the charger from its power
source,then plug it back in and try starting the charging process
again.If the fault occurs with a different battery pack,there could
be an internal fault with the charger.Contact Customer Service us-
ing the information in the Service and Support section on page 2.

The incorrect battery type has been selected.Press the Start/
Stop/Select button to reset the charger,then choose the correct
battery type for the battery you’re charging and restart the
charging process.

The battery has been diasconnected during the charging pro-
cess.Press the Start/Stop/Select button to reset the charger,then
plug the battrey in and restart the charging process.The charger’s
output current is too low or too high and/or the charger’s inrernal
temperature is too high.Disconnect the charger from its power
source and allow it to cool,then reconnect the charger and restart
the charging process.If the fault continues to occur even when the
charger is cool,there could be an internal fault with the charger.
