RS-422 Communication Protocol

The DVR-3901 implements RS-422 remote control over a DB-9
connector.

DB-9 connector

This 9 pin connector supports serial communication that conforms to
the industry standard electrical interface, data format, and command
protocol used by Sony and other manufacturers.

Command Block Format

Table 4-1

describes the command block format for messages sent via

the RS-422 Communication Protocol.
