Chapter 2: Installation and Removal
RS-422 / PC Serial Cable Selection
Follow this procedure to set the J6 jumper for either manual or
automatic selection:
1. Locate jumper
J6 on the module. See Figure 2-3 on page 16 .
2. Place a jumper on pins 1 and 2 to set the module for
RS-422
selection, or pins 2 and 3 to set the module for
PC serial
selection.

LTC Input Termination Selection
Follow this procedure to set the J7 jumper for selecting either Hi-Z or
600
Ω
shunt impedance for the LTC input port:
1. Locate jumper J7 on the module. See Figure 2-3 on page 16 .
2. Place a jumper on pins 1 and 2 to set the module for
Hi-Z
selection,
or pins 2 and 3 to set the module for 600
Ω
selection.
