How to clean the pot (9)
Clean the pot 9 after each use:
1. Wash the pot by hand with hot water
and a mild detergent.
2. Rinse with clean water.
3. Dry the pot with a tea towel to avoid any
water marks.
How to clean the lid (4)
Caution! The lid should not be washed in
the dishwasher.
1. Remove the pressure regulator

by
pulling it upwards.
2. Wash the lid with hot water and a mild
detergent. If the lid is particularly dirty,
soak it for a little while in water and a
mild detergent.
3. Rinse the pressure regulator

in clean,
hot water.
4. Rinse the lid

under hot water.
5. Dry the lid with a tea towel to avoid any
water marks.
6. Re-insert the pressure regulator 3 into
the lid.
How to clean the safety valve (5)
Check that the safety valve is maneuverable
and not blocked up every time before use.
1. Poke the safety valve using thin rod
and check that the safety valve moves
smoothly.
2. Check that it is not clogged with
remains of food. Remove the remains
of food if necessary.
How to clean the gasket (8)
Note!
The gasket should be replaced once
a year if you use the pressure cooker
regularly. Make sure that there is no
damage on the gasket, such as shrinkage
or cracking, before every use. Damage
to gasket will cause steam to leak out,
so please replace a damaged gasket
immediately. Please contact your nearest
IKEA store, call customer service or go to
www.ikea.com for support.
1. Remove the gasket from the lid.
2. Rinse the gasket in clean, hot water.
3. Dry the gasket with a tea towel.
Note! The gasket should not be squashed
or deformed during storage. It is therefore
advisable to place the gasket back into the
lid during storage.
Storing the pressure cooker
Caution! The pressure cooker should never
be stored with the lid on. If there is no venti-
lation then condensation may develop which
could lead to a build up of bad smells and
may even damage the pressure cooker.
1. Store the gasket in the lid.
2. Store the pot and the lid separately
