Trimming The Helicopter

Put the helicopter on a smooth surface, an uneven fl oor surface will affect the lift off.

Slowly increase the throttle.

DO NOT look at the transmitter but focus on the helicopter.

As soon as the helicopter leaves ground, reduce the throttle slightly. In the worst
case, helicoter will go back to the fl oor, but that is better than crashing against the
ceiling.

VERY gently add the throttle if the helicopter goes down.

VERY gently reduce the throttle if helicopter goes up.

For turning, give short inputs to the direction stick (most beginners
will easily over control the helicopter).

Trimming when helicopter turns clockwise
If the helicopter keeps turning clockwise, push
and release the left side of trim repeatedly until
the turning stops and helicopter fi ies straight.
Trimming when helicopter turns counter
clockwise
If the helicopter keeps turning counter
clockwise, push and release the right side of
the trim repeatedly until the turning stops and
the helicopter fl ies straight.
To replace the tail rotor, please
switch OFF the helicopter fi rst.
Then slowly pull the tail propeller
off the rear motor. And then care-
fully install a new propeller onto the
rear motor shaft. Changing the tail
propeller should only be done by
an adult!
