EXAMPLE

Your Extender’s MAC address

This is a hardware identification number that uniquely identifies each device on a network.
Write down the last four digits of this number. You’ll find the MAC number on a sticker on
the Extender. It looks like this.

My last 4 digits of the Extender’s MAC address is

CAUTION: -

after finishing this installation, it’s recommended that you keep

a record of the two unique numbers in a secure location.

Note:
The computer screen shots in this Guide are from a Windows 7 and a Windows XP
operating system. If your operating system is one of the other versions supported,
your screens will look slightly different.
