2Removethedrainplug①anddrainthefuelfrom
thefilter.
3Usingafilterwrench,tumthefHterca吐ridge②
counterclockwisetoremoveit.
4Whenfittingthefi【terca面dge②,coatfue[thinly
onthepackingofthecartridge,andthenscrewit
in.Afterthepackinghascomeincontactwiththe
seaisurface,tightenitapproximatelya112to314
0fatum.
5Afterfittingthecar†ridge,releasetheair,

Whenafue[filterisdisassem囹edorafueltankis
emptied,aircomesinthepipe,thusmakingit
impossibieforfueltofbw.Itistherefore
necessarytoremovetheairfromthepipe.
1Loosenthejointbolt④attheoutletofthefuel
filter.
2Loosentheknobofthefeedpump③.
3Movetheknobofthefeedpumpupanddown,
andcontinuetofeedfueluntilnoairbubblecomes
outfromthejointbo]t④.
4Whentherecomesnoairbubble,tightenthejoint
boit④,andcontinuetodosountiltheknob
becomesheavy.Then,reinsta"theknobby
screwingin,
5AfterwipingspiitfuelcompIetely,starttheengine
andmakesurethatthereisnofueHeakage.
