OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Power Button (On/Off)
1. After the fan has been plugged in and switched on at the wall socket, the
device beeps twice and enters the standby state, all functions and displays are
turned off.
2. In the standby state, press the Power (On/Off) button once to turn on
the device. The Power icon will be displayed on the control panel as well
as the fan icon . The fan will default to wind speed setting 10.
3. In the power-on state, press the Power (On/Off) button to shut down the
machine and enter the standby state (if horizontal oscillation is turned on, it
will return to the centre point before entering the standby state, but vertical
oscillation will not).
Note: If the horizontal oscillation is not centred due to sudden power failure
or abnormal operation, please turn on the horizontal oscillation function after
power on, and then turn off the power to return horizontal oscillation to the
centre point.
Speed Control Dial
1. In the power-on state, the fan will default to wind speed setting 10. When the
wind speed control dial in rotated to the right the wind speed will increase,
and if rotated to the left it will decrease. Once the desired wind speed has
been chosen it will flash 5 times before remaining on the screen. The wind
speed can be set at levels 1-32.
2. When the maximum wind speed is reached (level 32) a beep will sound to
alert you that the fan cannot increase the speed any further. Likewise, when
the minimum wind speed is reached (level 1) a beep will also sound to alert
you that the fan cannot decrease the speed any further.
3. If the wind speed control dial is inactive for 5 seconds or if you press
another button within 5 seconds, the control panel will immediately display
the current wind speed.
4. The default operation of the wind speed control dial is to adjust the wind
speed level. If you press the Timer button to enter the timer function, the
wind speed control dial can be used to adjust the time.
