S.M.A.R.T. for Hard Disks
S.M.A.R.T. stands for Self-Monitoring, Analysis and Reporting
Technology. This setting can help BIOS to warn the user of the
possible device failure and let the user back up the device before
actual failure happens. The options are Disabled, Enabled.
Boot Up Num-Lock
If the user wants the Num-Lock function to be turned on during the
boot-up period so that the user can use the key pad on the keyboard
right after the system starts, please select ON to do so. Otherwise,
select OFF..
Floppy Drive Swap
This setting decides whetherdrives A: and B: can be swapped or not.
The options are Enabled or Disabled.
Floppy Drive Seek
This setting is whether to enable floppy drives A: to perform a Seek
operation at system boot process. The options are Enabled or
Disabled.
PS/2 Mouse Support
When this setting is enabled, BIOS support a PS/2- type mouse.
System Keyboard
This won’t be specified if a keyboard is attached to the computer.
Otherwise, when there’s no keyboard detected and an error message
is displayed, this setting can be marked as needed. This setting
permits you to configure workstation with no keyboard. The options are
Absent, Present.
