POS-6614 Motherboard

Handle the POS-6614 motherboard by its edges. Do not touch the IC chips,

leads or circuitry unnecessarily.

Do not place the PCB on top of the anti-static bag. Only the inside of the bag

is safe from static discharge.

4.2.2 Checklist

When unpacking the POS-6614 motherboard, please make sure that the package

contains the following items.

1 x POS-6614 Single Board Computer

1 x ATA66/100 Flat Cable

1 x Dual RS-232 Cable

2 x SATA Cable

1 x SATA Power Cable

1 x mini jumper pack

1 x Utility CD

1 x QIG (Quick Installation Guide)

If one or more of these items are missing, please contact the reseller or vendor the

POS-6614 motherboard was purchased from. Do not proceed any further with the

installation.

4.3 POS-6614 Motherboard Installation

WARNING:

Never run the motherboard without the appropriate heat sinks and coolers.

Heat sinks and coolers can be ordered from IEI Technology or purchased

separately.
