1.1 Overview

Figure 1-1: NOVA-9152 and NOVA-9102 5.25” Motherboard

The NOVA-9152 and NOVA-9102 are ideal for integration in to point-of-sales (POS)

systems and kiosks. The NOVA-9152 and NOVA-9102 5.25” industrial PC motherboards

are high-performance Intel® Pentium® M or Intel® Celeron® M platforms and support

diverse display connectivity including one VGA display and up to two LVDS displays. The

system can facilitate dual 48-bit LVDS display connectivity.

System expansion and diversification is supported through one standard PCI slot, one

PC/104-Plus interface and one PCIe mini card slot. These expansion interfaces enable a

wide range of expansion devices to be installed on the NOVA-9152 and NOVA-9102. The

expansion options on the NOVA-9152 and NOVA-9102 enable system integrators to

develop and design flexible embedded functions for targeted applications.

The NOVA-9152 and NOVA-9102 supports up to 2.0 GB of DDR2 SDRAM and two

1.5 Gb/s SATA drives. The NOVA-9152 and NOVA-9102 also support one standard
