BIOS Menu 9: ACPI Configuration

ACPI Aware O/S [Yes]

Use the

ACPI Aware O/S

option to enable the system to configure ACPI power saving

options. ACPI can only be implemented if the system OS complies with the ACPI standard.

Windows 98, Windows 2000, and Windows XP all comply with ACPI.

Disables the ACPI support for the OS. This selection should

be disabled if the OS does not support ACPI

Enables the ACPI support for the operating system. This

selection should be enabled if the OS does support ACPI

5.3.6.1 General ACPI Configuration

General ACPI Configuration
