Step 4: Replace the top cover. Once replaced reinsert the three previously removed
retention screws. (See Figure 6-1 )
Step 5: Reconnect the power cable to the +12V socket

6.3.4 Cooling Fan Replacement
To replace a cooling fan, please follow the steps below.
Step 1: Turn off the system.
Step 2: Remove the top cover ( Section 4.2.2 ).
Step 3: Remove the fan cover plate by unfastening the cover screws.

Step 4: Remove the fan power cables from the power supply.
Step 5: Remove the fans from the front cover by removing the four retention screws
shown in Figure 6-3 .
