2.6.1.2 AT Power Mode

With the AT mode selected, the power is controlled by a central power unit rather than a

power switch. The ACT-08A-N270 panel PC turns on automatically when the power is

connected. The AT mode benefits a production line to control multiple panel PCs from a

central management center and other applications including:

ATM

Self-service kiosk

Plant environment monitoring system

Factory automation platform

Manufacturing shop flow

2.6.2 Power Adapter

The system is shipped with a 90 V to 264 V AC power adapter that has a maximum power

output of 60 W. The power adapter has a 12 V DC output connector.

2.6.3 Power Connectors

A standard power jack on the bottom panel of the ACT-08A-N270 is connected to the

power adapter and can input 12 V of direct current (DC) into the system. The power

connector and power switch are shown in

Figure 2-9

below.
