INSERTING BATTERIES
Four AA batteries are included. Open the battery compartment (10) on the bottom of the scale and insert the
batteries into the compartment according to the polarities marked on the battery compartment cover. Should
the batteries be depleted, then make sure to buy the right type of batteries, 1.5 V R6/LR6/AA.
ENTERING PERSONAL DATA
There are 12 memory locations available (P0 – P9, PA, Pb) for saving gender, height, age as well as
performance level (athlete mode). Carefully step on the left or right front corner to turn the scale on. The LCD
display (4) shows
briefly and then switches to 0.0. Press the
SET
button (2) and choose a memory
location.
Follow the illustration to set gender, age, height and performance level.
Using the buttons
(1, 3), the values can be adjusted and confirmed with the
SET
(2) button.
•
Memory locations available are P0 - P9, PA, Pb.
•
Age must be between 10 - 99 years.
•
Height must be within 60 - 240 cm.
•
Enter your performance level, choosing from A0-A4 according to the following legend:
A0 low mobility lifestyle
A1 normal, active daily movement
A2 little athletic activity
A3 a lot of athletic activity
A4 professional athlete
POSITIONING THE SCALE
1.
Always place the scale on a level, hard and non-skid surface, not on carpets or unstable floors.
2.
Make sure that the scale is situated out of the reach of children, so that they cannot use it as a toy and
damage it.
3.
Place the scale on a dry place, protected from moisture and heat.
OPERATION
NORMAL WEIGHING
1.
Step with one foot on the left or right front corner
to switch the scale on. The LCD display shows
and switches to 0.0 after a short period. If
no data have been entered, the scale switches
off automatically.
2.
Weigh yourself preferably without clothes and
shoes, always at the same time of the day and
before eating. Keep a notebook with your weight
values to be able to notice any fluctuations.
3.
Step on the middle of the glass plate (7) and stand still. The scale begins to calculate weight. After the
weight has been calculated, the result blinks twice on the LCD display and will be then shown
continuously.
The result will not be stored.
4.
When you step off the scale, the LCD display switches back to 0.0 and switches off automatically after
approx. 15 seconds.
5.
If the scale is overloaded, there will be „Err“ on the LCD display and the scale switches off
automatically.
