15. IGNITION COIL

15.2

Remove ignition coil screws, wave washers 
and plain washers.

15.3

Remove ignition coil.

15.4

Inspect.

A.  Look for cracks/missing insulation.

B.  Clean flywheel magnets and coil if rusty.

15.1

Remove starter flywheel shroud by 
unhooking wires.

15.  This section covers the removal, inspection, and installation of the ignition coil.  Removal 

of the starter is required.  Refer to section 8 if necessary.
