Broadcast or unicast

Only the ZigBee coordinator need to be set

The "Frame Type" parameter in Table 4.1 is the packet type for the wireless data

transmission. In general, please select "Broadcast"; but in some case of the communication

range is small and the number of nodes is large, select the "Unicast" can reduce the data

traffic of the ZigBee wireless network and thus improve communication efficiency, as shown

in Figure 4.1.

Note 4.1: If using ZT-2551/ZT-2571 modules to connect Modbus RTU devices in the

ZigBee network, be sure to set the "Frame Type" parameter of MDC-211-ZT to

“Broadcast”.
