NOTE:

• NEVER turn OFF the power until the updating has been completed. Otherwise, the SR-VPN1 may be dam

aged.

• The SR-VPN1’s IP address is set to “192.168.0.1,” when initialized by the firmware update. Set the PC’s IP address to

“192.168.0.xxx.” (You can set xxx to any number from 2 to 254.)

And you must configure the interface Language and Time Zone. See the supplied leaflet for details.

We recommend that you save the current setting in the PC, before updating the firmware. (

4. How to update the firmware (continued)

Click the [Management] menu, then [Firmware Update].

• The [Firmware Update] screen aeaprs.

Download a new firmware (extension: “dat”) from Icom website.

Click <Browse...>, and then select the firmware file (Extension: dat).

Click <Update>.

• The "Now updating firmware" screen appears.
