Floats and Flashes Alarm function

“FLAr”

Alarm periodically sounds while the transceiver is floating in
the water, to allow you to find the transceiver in the water.

• OFF: The function is OFF.
• ON:

Alarm periodically sounds while the transceiver is
floating in the water. This function stops when a
key is pushed or

10 seconds have past after

the

transceiver is retrieved from the water.

CAUTION: The alarm sounds loudly.

Automatic AquaQuake function

❏

“AquA”

This function automatically activates the AquaQuake Water
Draining function when the transceiver is retrieved from the
water.

• OFF: The function is OFF.
• 2/5/10: The AquaQuake Water Draining function is

automatically activated after stopping the floating
alarm sound. A low vibration tone sounds for the

specified time of 2, 5 or 10 seconds, to remove

water from the speaker grill.

NOTE: This function does not activate when an external
speaker microphone is connected.
