SCAN OPERATION
■
Skip channel setting
[
The memory skip function speeds up scanning by checking
only those memory channels not set as skip channels. Set
skip channels as follows.

Select a memory channel:

Push [M/CALL•PRIO] to select memory mode.

Rotate [DIAL] to select the desired channel to be a skip
channel.

Push [SET•LOCK] to enter set mode.

Push [SET•LOCK] or [S.MW•MW] several times until
“CHS” appears as shown above.

Rotate [DIAL] to turn the skip function ON or OFF for the
selected channel.

: The channel is skipped during scan.
(CHS-ON)

” appears : The channel is skipped during scan and the
programmed frequency is skipped during VFO scan, such as
programmed scan.
(CHS-ON)

” disappears : The channel is scanned during scan.

Select a memory channel.
