MAIN FUNCTIONS
RDS-Functions
The device supports the common RDS (Radio data system) functions like channel name or channel information. These
have to get streames by the channel and are not dependent from your device. In the following menu you can change your
tuner region.
Click on „AF“.
AF (Alternative frequency)
This function looks automatically for a better signal. If it find one, the
channel gets switched coneniently, without the noticing of the user.
The service may not work with every channel.
TA (Traffic Announcement)
When you activate the TA function, you will get traffic messages even if
you are using another Application. If you don want this function, you
have to turn it off manually.
Region settings
In the lower area you are able to change your tuner region.
Click on „TA“.
Choose one oft he categories, when you
tapped “PTY”
PTY (Program Typ)
The PTY function groups your channel based on the RDS information.
Thanks to this programm you can choose for example only „classic“ or
„rock“ etc.
If you choose a PTY category, only fitting channels get displayed on
your display when you search for channels. If a channel would
normally fit in a category but has no RDS information, it wont show
up.
If you want to deactivate the PTY function please choose the
category „NONE“.
