start
The power supply is unplugged. Connect to power supply.
Pump head damage. Replace with a new pump head.
The impeller is stuck by foreign matter. Take out the foreign matter.
The impeller is not fixed well. Fix the impeller well.
Water
leaking
The water valve tap is damaged. Replace with new water valve taps.
The water valve O-ring is damaged or with
foreign matter.
Replace with a new water valve O-ring or
remove foreign matter.
The power head O-ring is damaged or with
foreign matter.
Change a new power head O-ring or remove
foreign matter.
The power head and the canister are not locked
well.
Re-fix well.
The PVC tubing and the water valve are not
connected well.
Re-fix well.
The impeller cover O-ring is damaged or with
foreign matter.
Replace with a new impeller cover O-ring or
remove foreign matter.
Noisy
The impeller is damaged. Replace with a new impeller.
The impeller is stuck with foreign matter or not
fixed correctly.
Remove foreign matter or re-fix the impeller.
The inlet tap is closed. Open inlet valve taps.
There is air in the canister filter.
Shake canister filter body and let air out
completely.

start
The canister is not filled with water. Fully fill the canister filter casing with water.
The water in the aquarium is too low.
The water in the aquarium must be above the
minimum level.
The water valve taps are not open. Open water valve taps.
Little water
output
Inlet and outlet valve are not fully open. Open the inlet and outlet valves fully.
Inlet and outlet pipes are too dirty. Clean the inlet and outlet pipes.
PVC tubing is too dirty. Clean the PVC tubing.
