If you use solvents from other manufacturers, it is essential to read and follow the
information and safety instructions provided by the manufacturer.
5.7.
Precautionary measures to be taken by the operator
IBS Parts Cleaning Devices conform to type class A 1 (EN 12921-3; 3.15.1).
A danger area which is appropriate for the operating conditions (e.g. geometry and surface area
of workpieces, intensity of cleaning) must be defined. For normal cleaning processes, IBS
recommends a danger area of 1 m around the device.
The danger area identified by means of a risk assessment:

Must be designated a fire hazard area

Must remain free of obstructions in order to allow unimpeded access at all times

Must be equipped with effective natural ventilation
-
Smoking is not permitted in the danger area
-
Naked flames or other sources of ignition are not permitted in the danger area

Keep everything as clean as possible when working with solvents, oils and lubricants
-
Operating and maintenance personnel must receive proper training
-
The operating instructions and the standard operating procedure must be attached to
the device
