Opening your IBM Computer

1.

If a cover lock is present, unlock the computer cover. (The cover lock is 

located on the rear of the computer in some models).

2.

Find the tabs on the rear of the computer cover and lift them up; then 

gently pull the cover toward you to release the back edge. Next, hold the 

cover by the sides and pull it forward about half an inch.

3.

Lift the back edge and slide the cover forward until it comes free.
