Plugging rules for memory in the 8335-GCA system
Learn about the configurations and rules that apply to adding memory to the 8335-GCA system. The
8335-GTA system always has all eight memory risers populated.
Table 3 lists the supported memory DIMM feature codes and Table 4 shows the allowable memory
capacity points for the 8335-GCA system. All DIMM slots on a memory riser must be filled. Mixing of
memory feature codes is not allowed.

memory capacity. The riser quantity value that is listed is the quantity of the memory feature code that can be
ordered, which corresponds to the DIMM size in the leftmost column.
