To remove system memory:

At both ends of the connector, push outward on the retaining clips until the
module is loosened. Do not attempt to loosen or remove the module without
releasing the retaining clips.

Note:  

Be careful not to push too hard on the retaining clips because the
module may abruptly eject from the connector.

Lift the module out of the connector.

3

Store the module in a static-protective package.
