4. Remove any GPUs from GPU positions 3 and 4.

Attention: Do not unscrew the four spring-loaded screws that attach the heat sink to the GPU.

a) Remove the eight screws that are shown in the following figure.

b) Grasp the GPU by the heat sink, being careful not to bend the pins. Remove the GPU from the

system backplane.
Be careful of the pins on the bottom of the GPUs to avoid damaging the pins and the GPU.

c) Place the protective covers on the bottom of the removed GPUs.
