Controller unit indicator lights
The indicator lights on the front of the controller unit are shown in Figure 29 through
Figure 31 .

Note: Status lights might blink when I/O activity is in progress. If the Heartbeat light
blinks continuously, then the other status lights will glow in various patterns to
show the status or an error condition. The pattern shown depends on whether the
controller is active or passive (offline). For more information, refer to IBM Netfinity

Power
Green light indicates that power is on.
Normal status: On
Problem status: Off
Heartbeat (first status light)
Green light indicates controller is working.
Normal status: On (blinking)
Problem status: On Fault
Amber light indicates controller fault.
Normal status: Off
Problem status: On
