Lay the LCD monitor face-down on a flat surface with a cushion beneath
it to protect the screen.

Grasp the top of the stand cover (a) and pull the cover out then up to
remove it. Using both hands, release the tab on each side of the hinge
cover (b) then pull the cover out and off the monitor.
4.
Remove the six screws and then remove the Stand from the LCD
monitor.
5.
If you are installing an arm or wall-mounting device, follow the directions
included with the device. If you are just changing your cables, continue
with Step 6.
6.
Connect the signal cable and the power cord.
7.
Put the hinge cover back on.
8.
Insert the Stand cover into the slots in the back of the monitor and push
the cover into place.
To obtain the correct cables and/or to get further instructions on installing

dealer, retailer, or other IBM authorized Servicer.
Installing a 13W3 Cable
13W3 cables are most often used with workstations. To install a 13W3 cable
follows steps 1 through 3 starting on page 24 then continue with the steps
