Connecting the internal battery

To connect the uninterruptible power supply internal battery, complete the following
steps:

1. Make sure that the uninterruptible power supply is turned off and is

disconnected from the outside power source.

2. Remove the uninterruptible power supply front bezel:

a. Press up on the two bezel latches to release the front bezel

and pull up

Note:

A ribbon cable connects the bezel to the uninterruptible power supply.

Do not pull on the cable or disconnect it.

b. Carefully rotate the bezel 180° and place it on top of the uninterruptible

power supply

3. Loosen the thumbscrew on the metal battery cover and lift up to remove the

cover.
