iv. Distance Adjusting Knob

Adjust the headgear diameter
(i) with the twist knob on the
back. The knob is locked until
pushed in.

Adjust the height by snapping
the pin (ii) into the hole to lock
securely in place.

To adjust the viewing angle, loosen the knob (iii) on both sides of
the helmet and change angle locker to the desired tilt position.

To adjust the distance between the user’s face and ADF, loosen
the knobs (iv) on both sides of the helmet until the headband can
move back and forth freely, reposition the headband at one of
the slots as desired. This should be done one side at a time and
both sides should be located at the same position.

SHADE CONTROL

The Shade Control Knob (2) on the side of
welding helmet is used manually to dial in the
shade number needed (from DIN 9 to 13).

Use the control to adjust the lens shade in the
darkened state.

Select the protective shade number needed
for your particular welding application by
consulting the ‘Shade Guide Table’ below:

DIN 9 to 13

(Welding Mode)
