4 Using the "Heart Beat"
4.1 Preparation
Open the battery compartment on the back of the watch.
Insert the batteries supplied as shown in the diagram.
Make sure that the battery removal strip is located
under the batteries.
Then set the time and date (see 4.8).
The "Heart Beat" is now on
permanent standby.
4.2 Putting on the "Heart Beat"
Put the "Heart Beat" on like a normal
watch so that the time is visible. Fasten
the strap securely around your
wrist. Remember to hold the
watch level with your heart so
that you can read the display.
Readings will be incorrect if
it is held too high or too
low. To obtain accurate rea-
dings and avoid errors,
the arm, hand and fingers
must be kept still when
taking a measurement.
